Pluto Journals

Launched in 2009, Pluto Journals is an independent, scholarly and international journal publisher in the field of Social Sciences. A small but vibrant company, Pluto Journals publishes in the fields of politics, international studies, law, labour studies, political economy and Arab and Islamic studies, among others. It is wholly owned by Pluto Educational Trust.

Pluto Journals is an international bespoke company – international in subject matter, in that its editors come from the four corners of the world. In 2021 Pluto Journals became Open Access and all articles published by Pluto Journals are now free to read and download. Pluto Journals is possibly the first Journal publisher to take all Journals into Open Access at one time. Readership of the Pluto Journals collection increased by 600% in the first year.
