As part of our new Radical Memory Project, we’re really proud to be supporting The Left Book Club’s incredibly exciting event on 24th May, Learning Together, Rising Together.

In a time of far-right violence on our streets, increasing police authoritarianism, attacks on workers' rights, and violence against migrant communities, we need spaces to come together more than ever. The core of The Left Book Club’s work is to create vibrant hubs where people engage with radical literature, explore histories of resistance, and organise for change.

Featuring speakers: Jeremy Corbyn, Mikaela Loach, Mohammed Elnaiem and Elif Sarican.

Schedule:

  • 2:30-3:00pm: Doors open and book drop-off for book swap

  • 3:00-4:30pm: Panel discussion with our speakers

  • 4:30-5:30pm: Choice of three workshops

  • 5:30-6:00pm: Social and collect books from book swap
