Global Icon series
The Global Icon series celebrates exceptional individuals whose ideas, activism and enduring work ‘changed the world’. Inspired by the legacy of Walter Rodney, a scholar and activist who tirelessly fought for the liberation of Black and colonized peoples, the Global Icon series focuses on historical figures from the Global South and African American communities who transformed their societies and the world through their thought and action.
